Who We Are

MOL India is the South Asia and Middle East regional headquarters of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL), one of the world’s largest and most trusted shipping and maritime infrastructure companies, with a legacy of over 140 years.

Headquartered in Mumbai, MOL India has been part of the country's maritime landscape since 1966 and became a wholly owned subsidiary in 2021. Today, we operate across all major Indian ports, offering comprehensive solutions in energy shipping, car carriers, dry bulk, logistics, ship management, manning, digital transformation, and maritime innovation.

Our Operations

Our operations include a fleet of 13 Indian-flagged vessels (10 under MOL India, 3 under IFSC), supported by 12 logistics offices and warehouses across key metro and port cities. We manage a versatile energy transport fleet comprising 2 VLCCs, 6 VLGCs, 2 MGCs, 2 LRI tankers, and 1 chemical tanker, with extended commercial operations across 33 vessels.

With a human capital base of 2,000+ Indian seafarers and 800+ onshore employees, we are also advancing future-ready capabilities in clean energy, digital services, and maritime real estate backed by a ₹1,000 crore commercial investment in Gurugram and expansion plans in Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai.
